Until then, we're building it. Come help.
A Community Archive, Built Together
The Rave Bible is a living archive of the UK rave scene from 1987 to 1994. The music, the artists, the labels, the pirate radio stations, the flyers, the footage, the culture. Everything from the first acid house nights at Shoom and Spectrum, through the orbital raves and warehouse parties, to the Criminal Justice Bill that tried to shut it all down.
This isn't a finished product. It's a project being built in the open, by people who care about this era. The archive grows every day. If you were there, if you collect it, if you still love it - your knowledge belongs in here.

Who We're Looking For
People who were there. People who still care. People with records in the loft, flyers in a shoebox, tapes nobody's played in thirty years.
DJs, promoters, collectors, photographers, clubbers, researchers. If you have knowledge, content, or just serious passion for this era, request access and come help us build it.
What we need help with
Identifying artists and their releases from the era
Tracking down rare vinyl, white labels, and promos
Sharing flyers, photos, and footage from events
Pirate radio recordings and station histories
First-hand accounts and stories
The artist roster and release catalogue for this archive is drawn from The Rave List by Ritchie Kellingray - the most comprehensive published record of the 1988-1994 UK rave scene. All rights in that work remain with the author. Release data cross-referenced with Discogs.
This is a non-commercial community project dedicated to preserving the cultural history of the UK rave scene. No material is sold or monetised. All rights remain with the original artists, labels, and creators. If you are a rights holder and would like content removed, please get in touch.
